Dr. Christine Ackerley is a Knowledge Mobilization Specialist with over ten years of experience in health communication, strategy, and research. Her Fulbright PhD at the University of Washington examined how intermediaries communicate evidence for policy impact.

Previously, Christine worked in communications at British Columbia’s Provincial Health Services Authority and on a global, cross-sector health initiative with Novo Nordisk. She has also led an independent consulting practice supporting partnerships and strategic communication across health and research settings.

Known for bringing clarity to complex issues and connecting the dots across research, policy, and practice, Christine is passionate about collaborative, creative approaches to enhance the real-world impact of evidence across Canada’s health systems. She holds a Master of Arts in Communication from Simon Fraser University and a Bachelor of Journalism from Carleton University.
