Generating research and insights to inform policy and practice

Our work strengthens Canada’s pandemic readiness by putting people and society at the heart of innovation.

BRC researchers examine questions that biomedical research alone cannot answer – from legal and regulatory barriers to access, to how trust is built or eroded within communities, to how people interpret risk and uncertainty, competing values, and personal circumstances.

We help ensure that new vaccines and immune-based therapeutics can move effectively from cell to society – in ways that are trusted and equitably accessible to those who need them.
