Marinel Kniseley works with Dr. Cindy Jardine as a Research Manager at the University of the Fraser Valley. She has had the honour of working with Cindy on a number of projects related to vaccine attitudes and advancing health equity for minority populations in BC. She also works with the Centre for Advancing Health Outcomes (UBC) and has established a reputation in Chilliwack for leading creative research and engagement projects that empower marginalized communities to explore and communicate their experiences and perspectives on their own terms.

She completed her MA in Anthropology through Western Washington University, working with local immigrant Mexicana certified nursing assistants. Her thesis explored ways these CNAs performed their cultural care ethics and created daily resistance against the for-profit model of institutionalized care environments.
