Ethics Bowl 2025 National Competition

The BRC is partnering with Ethics Bowl Canada to engage youth in meaningful discussions about the moral and ethical implications of vaccines and immunotherapies. Ethics Bowl Canada is a national organization that hosts competitions for high school and college/ university students, encouraging them to explore complex social issues through respectful and collaborative dialogue.

Unlike traditional debate competitions, Ethics Bowl events emphasize shared inquiry, civil discourse, and mutual learning rather than winning arguments. Participants are encouraged to listen, question, and grow through thoughtful disagreement.

In 2025, the BRC developed two cases for the National Ethics Bowl Championship held at the Canadian Human Rights Museum in Winnipeg, which was attended  by over 100 high school students across Canada. You can read the cases here:

Congratulations to Loretto Abbey (Toronto, Ontario), who were the 2025 High School Champions!
