Help us create a travelling science exhibition on the immune system

Are you a young adult living in a small or medium size city? We want to hear your thoughts! We are looking for participants to join an online consultation about an upcoming travelling science exhibition on the immune system.

Participants will receive a $75 compensation after completing the process. If you are interested in joining the consultation, please read if you are eligible below and fill out the interest form. Selected participants will be contacted.

The project:

Our immune system is an incredible interconnected network with its own memory, defense system and language — and it should be in an exhibition! We need your input to help make happen.

In 2027, we will launch an immunology exhibition that will travel to cities in Canada meeting young adults in their everyday spaces. We want to merge science, art, and fun to demystify the immune system and bring to life the latest discoveries by immune scientists in Canada, along with showcasing the life-changing immune innovations being created in our own backyard.

The consultation:

We're asking young adults what they want to learn about the immune system, what are their priorities are when it comes to immune health, and how they would like to be engaged. The consultation will involve brief presentations from scientists, group brainstorming and discussions.

No prior science background is needed — we just want to hear your opinions and what excites you.

Eligibility criteria:

• 18-34 years old
• Live in a city with less than 160,000 people
• No science knowledge required

The process:

• Before the meeting: Complete an online pre-survey (10 minutes)
• The meeting: Meet for a conversation with a team of museum creators, scientists, and other young adults (2 hours)
• After the meeting: Complete an online post-survey (10 minutes)
