Hours: Full-time (37 hours/week) until February 2028
Salary range: $70,000 to $85,000 CAD per year plus benefits
Location: Simon Fraser University, Burnaby campus (hybrid, with an expectation of being in the office 3 days per week)
Dates: November 2025–February 2028
ABOUT THE BRIDGE RESEARCH CONSORTIUM
The Bridge Research Consortium (BRC) was formed in 2024 to strengthen Canada’s pandemic readiness by helping to build a domestic therapeutic pipeline and immunization system that embeds public trust and equitable access into scientific innovation, policy development, and operational readiness. As a unique academic consortium of social sciences and humanities scholars, working with scientists, healthcare workers, and other varied partners and collaborators across Canada and the world, the BRC focuses on addressing the social and behavioural factors associated with the uptake of new vaccines and immunotherapies. 
POSITION OVERVIEW
The Knowledge Mobilization Specialist conducts the planning, implementation and evaluation of activities within the Bridge Research Consortium (BRC), Canada’s Immuno-Engineering and Biomanufacturing Hub (CIEBH), and other collaborating hubs. The Specialist will contribute to boosting KMb capacity within the BRC and will have the opportunity to contribute to the development of outputs, products, activities, and events to advance public trust and equitable access to new vaccines and immune-based innovations related to pandemic preparedness and response.

RELATIONSHIPS
Direct reporting to: Knowledge Mobilization Lead
Works closely with: Knowledge Mobilization staff, Project & Operations team, and other BRC Secretariat members
Accountable to: Project and Operations Manager and BRC Scientific Co-Directors (Professors Kelley Lee and Ève Dubé) for alignment with approved workplans, deliverables, projects, and outputs
Regular interaction with: BRC members, Secretariat staff, partners, collaborators, knowledge users, and community stakeholders
Financial accountability: Project and Operations Manager (with large purchase approvals by the Scientific Co-Directors)
